I’m halfway through my Spring Project Use It Up (my non-makeup project pan), and I’m honestly really excited because I made a good push in the first half of this 3-month project. This runs March through the end of May, and I’m focusing on fragrance, skincare, nails, and body care—basically the stuff that quietly piles up if you’re not paying attention. I’m tracking usage, marking progress lines, and keeping notes so I don’t forget what’s working (and what’s absolutely not). In this update, I share some big wins (including a couple of finishes), plus a mid-project swap that I don’t normally do—but I’m doing it anyway because life is too short to hate-pan a perfume. I also talk through what I’m using differently because I’m in a tretinoin phase of my life, how I’m working through backups without getting burned out, and why seasonal project panning keeps me motivated (lighter textures in summer, cozy richer stuff in winter, and all the scents that actually match the season). At this point, I only have 6 out of 15 items left to work on through the end of May, and then I’ll reset for a summer project with fresh picks.
