In this video I take a quick look at the VIVOHOME vacuum pump kit off Amazon, because it’s one of those “pretty sweet” bundles that actually comes with a lot more than just the main unit. I unbox everything and walk through what you’re getting right out of the case—starting with the nice carrying case, the instruction manual (with a super easy order of operations), and even vacuum oil included so you don’t have to buy that separately. Then I get into the main pump itself: it’s a rotary vane vacuum pump, relatively heavy (I’d guess around 5–10 lbs), and it runs off a standard 120V AC outlet. I also point out the rubber feet on the bottom so it sits in place and doesn’t scoot around, plus the controls up top. On top of that, VIVOHOME throws in a halogen leak detector, and you get the manifold gauge set with adjustable gauges, fittings, and individual colored hoses.
