Yo, what’s up guys—today I’m testing the Syntech Chronos G68HE (Kronos 68), a 65% rapid trigger magnetic (Hall Effect) keyboard Syntech sent over. This is my first keyboard from Syntech, so I went straight into the stuff that actually matters: build quality, sound, RGB, and the software experience. Magnetic keyboards have basically replaced mechanical keyboards in the gaming market at this point, so the real question is whether this one is the right pick for you. Right out of the box, the G68HE surprised me with how solid it feels. The frame is all aluminum, it has real weight, and I literally can’t flex it—so build quality is a big win. It doesn’t have flip-out legs, but it comes with a wrist rest, which I personally prefer anyway. I also did a sound test (on a desk mat for fairness), and it’s honestly better than most magnetic keyboards I’ve tried—still a bit hollow and light compared to a lot of mechanical boards, but definitely livable. On the software side, there’s an online tool that’s more for testing/calibration (it shows down/up timing in milliseconds), but for real customization you’ll want the downloadable software. Overall, it’s a well-built, great-sized competitive keyboard with bright, punchy RGB—just don’t expect it to magically sound like a premium mechanical without more internal foam.
