In this episode of my BTArtBox Bare Nails series, I’m taking our last set (the chrome + polka dots) and going in a softer, more feminine direction with a jewelry-inspired design. If you’ve watched my makeup videos, you already know I’m usually wearing my Van Cleef Sweet Butterflies necklace—so I wanted that same delicate, dainty vibe on my nails. Think: clean, wearable “bare” nails, but elevated with butterfly details and subtle clover accents (Vintage Alhambra-inspired). The goal was elegant and everyday, without being overdone. I used the BTArtBox Bare tips in medium coffin and chose the shade Porcelain because the tone felt perfect for this romantic, refined look. I walk you through sizing your tips sidewall-to-sidewall, my favorite glue choice (the XCOATTIPS Gap Fill Solid Nail Glue Gel because it lets me place the tip and it doesn’t move), and how I clean up any gel spillage—because cured gel on skin is a big no-no. For the art, I used a “little hack” with a sticker as a guide, added a soft mother-of-pearl marbling effect, and placed tiny caviar beads one by one (yes, it takes patience). The end result honestly felt like wearing my necklace… but on my hands.
