Hello, hello—today I’m putting the brand new m.ph by Mary Phillips Le Skin Weightless Serum Foundation to the test with a full-day wear test, check-ins, and yes… I get unflatteringly close so you can really see what’s happening on the skin. I’m wearing shade Tan 230 N (neutral undertone), and I also picked up the m.ph Foundation Brush that’s made for this formula. I don’t have the underpainting palette (and honestly, the shade jump felt big when I swatched in Sephora), so I applied this the regular way and focused on how it actually performs. This is a true serum foundation—lightweight, breathable, and very “skin.” I applied it two ways: brush on one side (and my dry forehead), and sponge on the other, because I always like to show multiple methods. The finish was beautiful and natural, it layered without streaking, and all my creams and powders went over top really nicely. I did notice a weird scent at first (not fragranced, just… there), but it completely disappeared after a couple hours. By the end of the day, I still felt like it looked good—comfortable, not greasy, no separating, and the big win for me: it didn’t settle into my smile lines. The brush side wore a little better around the mouth and nose, but overall this is an easy, everyday, mature-skin-friendly serum foundation that I’m genuinely happy I tried.
