I got distracted—multiple times—by shimmer, because obviously. Tono & Lims Shimmer Raspberry is super weird and particle-heavy, and Diamine Green Edition Arctic Blast has sparkle too. I also show a Robert Oster shimmer (the name defeated me), and I’m over here like, “So sparkly, I’m gonna die.”

Is Noodler’s Rome Burning safe for fountain pens?

It’ll write, but I warn you: Rome Burning has a stainy property, so be careful. I specifically say it can stain your pen purple, and I’m not interested in surprise pen makeovers. If you use it, pick a pen you’re not precious about and clean it properly.

How do you clean ink off your hands quickly after swatching or topping?

I use these green scrub buddies scouring pads from the Dollar Tree. They get my hands clean in, like, almost two seconds, but you’ve got to moisturize afterward or your skin gets really dry. It’s not glamorous, but it works.

Can you send ink samples to viewers and how does shipping work?

Accepted Answer

Yes—if you want ink, tell me, and as long as you’re willing to pay shipping, I’ll send as much or as little as you want. But don’t give me a list of one or two inks because I won’t even bother—give me 10, 20, or 30. Out of that list, I’ll probably be able to find five or ten, because my organization system is basically “hamsters on crack.”
