About This Video

Welcome back to my Currently Inked Pens—this is Week 10 of 2026 (February 27th through March 6th), and I’m walking you through exactly what I’ve got inked up for the week, plus how everything behaved on my trusty CVS composition paper. The good news: I didn’t have any problems last week, and most of these inks are behaving beautifully—shading, sheen, and even a little twinkle where I want it. I also asked you all a scheduling question (and yes, I finally figured out the poll): it looks like you want five ink videos in a row, then a Currently Inked, then a BuJo. For pens and inks, I’ve got a nice mix of stubs, broads, and flex: my Lamy Vista with Noodler’s Rattler Red Eel, an FPR Himalaya ultra flex with Diamine Autumn Oak (that shading is just… come on), and a Narwhal Original with Ferris Wheel Press Buttered Popcorn—shimmer, but not too much, more like “twinkle-ish.” I also inked up multiple Conrads (including a 14k extra-extra-extra fine semi-flex) and a couple dependable blacks. And then we had a moment: I tried Scribe’s brown ink in my Waterman 12 and it bled straight through the page—absolutely not. I washed it out and went with a safe choice, Diamine Ochre, and everything was right with the world again.
