Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Marilyn Darling Show—today I’m doing a quick swatching video so you can help me pick what ink I review next week. Since YouTube polls only let me add four options (which is annoying), I swatched a handful of inks on camera so you can actually see the colors, and then you can vote for your favorite in the comments. I’m using my Dominant Industry ink muddler to lay down the swatches, and I run through each ink one by one so you can compare them side-by-side. The lineup I swatched includes J. Herbin Vert Olive, Diamine Soft Mint (which is one of my favorite Diamine colors—love Soft Mint), Colorverse Rainy Day (I don’t think it’s shimmer), Diamine Denim, and Diamine “A…thl Violet” (listen, the label tripped me up and I needed the laugh). I also talk through how I’m going to split the options into two polls on the post tab, and then have you comment your pick. I also share the results of my earlier scheduling poll: for now, I’m moving toward Monday through Friday being ink content, with Saturday and Sunday for Currently Inked and Bujo—unless something else is going on.
