Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Marilyn Darling Show—today is a bullet journal setup video with a little mail time vlog sprinkled in, because our friend Manda over at badmousevinyls.com sent me the coolest little treat. I unbox these “feather like a chicken” decals and I’m not kidding: they’re so sparkly, and not like any normal stickers I’ve ever used. I got a gold feather, a black sparkle, and a matte white that also has a little sparkle in it (surprise!). I’m excited… and also immediately thinking thoughts about where I’m even going to put them, because I don’t have a lot of black things in my life. After the happy mail, I flip through my journals and set up the next stretch—getting ready for March 2026. I talk pen show notes (yes, I went to the California Pen Show and still didn’t find my grail pen), calligraphy reminders (because a great pen cannot replace muscle memory—true story), and I map out my month: bills, trash day, pen club, birthdays, and Pi Day (which means I need to make a pie, obviously). I also share how I’m adjusting my content schedule based on a poll—more ink reviews during the week, then Currently Inked and BJO setup on the weekend—so everything stays fun and actually doable.
