Jaguar XF - Steering Feel Review

Most modern cars try to do everything. Be sporty, comfortable, practical, fast… and in the process, they often lose any real sense of purpose. This car doesn’t. In this episode of my Steering Feel Review, I take a 2013 Jaguar XF out on real roads to understand what happens when a car is built with a completely different focus. Instead of chasing performance or driver engagement, this car is unapologetically designed around comfort, refinement and ease of use. And the result is one of the most impressive normal driving experiences I’ve ever tested. I break down exactly how the steering behaves in everyday driving, from parking and town use to motorway cruising, looking at weighting, effort and how easy the car is to place on the road. I also briefly touch on spirited driving, but more importantly, why that isn’t really the point of a car like this. This video is less about how fast a car can go, and more about what actually matters in the real world.
