How hard can it be to service your own car?

I’m probably the perfect person to make this video… because I barely know what I’m doing. I don’t come from a mechanical background, I’m not a technician, and until recently I’d never seriously considered servicing my own car. But after seeing the costs involved and hearing how “easy” it supposedly is, I wanted to find out for myself. In this video I go through the full process of servicing my own car as a complete beginner. From the tools and parts you actually need, to changing the oil, replacing the oil filter and swapping the air filter. More importantly, I wanted to answer a simple question: How hard is this really for a normal person? I also break down whether doing it yourself actually saves meaningful money, what parts of the process were easier or harder than expected, and whether I’d do it again.
