In this reaction video, I’m checking out a food-focused Dubai adventure that hits two spots in JBR: Motorino for Neapolitan-style pizza, and a brand-new Italian deli called Il Moto for paninis and pastries. I’m watching the host talk with Chef Mario about what makes their pizza consistent—timing, temperature, dough process, and using Italian ingredients. They also geek out over the oven (apparently one of the best in the world), and you can really see how much pride goes into keeping that quality the same every single time. While they’re tearing into spicy pizza and a buffalo mozzarella-loaded “DomDom,” I’m over here being honest: the pizza looks amazing, but I’m side-eyeing some toppings (like greens tossed on after), and I’m also dealing with my usual struggle—my egg allergy—so a lot of the starters and pastries are basically a no-go for me. The deli section was super interesting though, especially the whole “licensed” emphasis and the separate pork kitchen setup in Dubai. The panini segment actually took me back to a cruise memory where I got obsessed with a pressed turkey sandwich on a bread I still can’t identify. So yeah… now I’m hungry, curious about Dubai, and once again wishing eggs weren’t in everything.
