I’m sharing what’s been going on with me being a little MIA (yes, I had thoughts of quitting YouTube), and I’m also walking you through a glowy, natural look that still feels put-together. Life has been lifing, and with my husband stepping into a bigger pastoral role, I’ve had to slow down, readjust, and be honest about what I can carry in this season as a wife, mom, and woman in ministry. Makeup-wise, I’m going for “beautiful natural everyday,” not full coverage. I start with a balm and a glowy SPF/primer vibe, keep the brows soft and natural (no carving), and then I do concealer first and foundation around it. I test the e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation in a tube (travel-friendly, thank you), set with the Wet n Wild translucent powder (the blur surprised me), and warm up with e.l.f. Putty Bronzer and a pigmented camo liquid blush. I also use the e.l.f. Sun Drops for that sun-kissed glow, then finish with bronzed eyes, a beginner-friendly liner, and mascara—plus a little “makeup rules are optional” moment using blush on my lips.
