In this video I break down the Sony ZV-E10 II vs the original ZV-E10 and run through every major difference I could find. The big headline upgrades are the new XR processor, a much better menu system, and a serious autofocus jump with 759 AF points. You also get oversampled 4K60 (finally), plus 10-bit color—so if you actually like grading your footage, S-Log2/S-Log3 become way more usable than they ever felt on the Mark 1. I also talk about creator-focused upgrades like vertical menus for shorts/reels, improved digital stabilization, focus breathing compensation, and a built-in LUT preview so you can load your look and see it properly in-camera. Battery life is a huge win too: the ZV-E10 II uses the FZ100 battery (same as my A7 bodies), and Sony claims over 2 hours in 4K24—compared to roughly 80 minutes on the original. I finish with the real-world “who is this for?” verdict: if you’re video-first, the extra $300 is worth it. If you’re photo-first, the lack of a mechanical shutter on the Mark II is a big reason to skip it.
