In this February 2026 homeschool update, I’m sharing the big changes we’ve made lately—starting with our homeschool room and office setup. I walk you through what’s working better for us right now, why I made the changes, and how having a more functional space helps our days run smoother (especially when I’m juggling multiple grades). I also share what we’re using and how we’re organizing things so the kids can actually find what they need without everything turning into a giant pile. Then I get into our 1st grade and 3rd grade updates—what we’ve kept, what we’ve switched, and what I’m focusing on for the rest of this season. I talk through math and language arts choices (including what’s feeling like a better fit), plus the skill-building pieces we’re working on like facts practice, handwriting, and writing. I also share our group subjects and how I’m handling learning together in a simple way that still feels rich.
