Today I’m sharing all the DeWalt booth footage I grabbed at World of Concrete 2026 in Las Vegas, because they brought some legitimately interesting stuff this year. I talked with the DeWalt team about the new PowerShift H1NX demolition hammer getting bumped up to 45 joules, and the goal there is pretty clear: hardest hitting in its class, high demo rate, and lower hand-arm vibration so you can stay on it longer and get more done per charge. We also got into their new 12-inch cut-off saw—people always ask “why not 14?”—but the big takeaway is the 4-3/4" depth of cut and the direct drive setup. No belt, steady power, and it’s built to keep cutting even when you hit rebar. Then there’s the cordless duplex nailer system (DCN910) aimed at speeding up forming work with proprietary duplex fasteners, and the concrete chemical sprayer (DCCS1100) that’s designed for higher-viscosity concrete chemicals with constant pressure and a ton of nozzle/flow options. But the two show-stoppers for me were the 30,000-lumen balloon light tower—perfect for finding wall imperfections on punch-list work—and the autonomous drilling robot DeWalt built with August Robotics. Upload plans, it drills point-to-point, vacuums silica dust, and keeps crews away from vibration and repetitive drilling all day.
