I made a copper bracelet using a Vicking weave pattern with old junk wire. This would make and excelent gift. The Process: I started by finding some suitable scrap wire and stripping it to the bare copper. I then created a flower shape to start the weave. I followed the instructions from (Link below). I notice very quickly that the wire I had picked was too thin and kept breaking on me. I decided to try again with thicker wire. I used six loops and a single weave to complete the first step. I then used some scrap wood and drilled subsequent smaller holes in the wood to create a step board. I drew the weave through the step board starting with the bigger whole and working my way down to the smallest size. I then used some thinker gauge wire to create the ends. If you want to do this project but don't have scrap wire laying around, I provided links to some you can get on Amazon below, as well as the pliers I use. Using the wrong tool is dangerous, don't do this!
