I made a dreamcatcher using copper. Tlanowa bird - A giant bird with copper feathers common to the mythology of many Southeastern tribes of North America. The Process: I started by making a hoop using some steel wire I had. I opted not to purchase a hoop since I had the steel wire, but I have provided a link to some hoops below. Once the hoop was made, I wrapped the entire hoop in a thin leather rope. Once wrapped I used some electrical wire that I had previously processed. I used the copper to weave the dream catcher. The method I used is detailed in a video by Emilie Lefler. Once Weaved, I cut out feathers from some thin copper tin. I attached the feathers using the same copper wire as before. I finished it all off with a loop above to hang it. If you enjoyed the video please give it a like and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
