Making a Chainmail Ornament | A Project Using Recycled Copper I made an ornament from recycled copper. I used chain mail as the design. The Process: I started by stripping the wire using a precision blade. I then looped each type of wire around different size mandrels to give me the various diameters. I then used cutters to make jump rings from the coils. I used two pairs of pliers to assemble the ornament using an image as a pattern. Its better to get the right tool then to force things.
