DIY Glass Whiteboard | Making a Modern Style Dry Erase Board using Up-cycled Glass and Pallet Wood

We made a modern style whiteboard using recycled glass and some leftover pallet wood. This is a simple DIY project that only requires the most basic of power tools. The Process: We started by cutting down some pallet wood we had leftover from some other projects. Using the table saw we cut the wood down to size. We then determined how thick of a slot to make by measuring the glass thickness. We were able to make two passes with the table saw to make the slot. We then sanded the wood and used some black spray paint to finish it off. We also painted the head of the screws to make sure they didn't show once the boards were installed. We then installed the board by first leveling and installing the bottom board. then using the glass as a spacer, we marked where the second board should go. All that was left was to slide the glass into place. We used some liquid chalk pens (Link below) to draw on the board and they worked great!
