Automating your bathroom fan may not seem like the most exciting smart home upgrade, but humidity control is one of the most practical and overlooked automations you can set up. Today, I’m showing you how I automated my bathroom exhaust fan using Matter over Thread devices. 🚨 Disclaimer: This is not the cheapest way to do this, but it’s one of the few Matter over Thread solutions available today. Later this year, Inovelli is releasing a Matter-enabled humidity-sensing switch, which will simplify this setup.
