Growing up, whole-home audio felt like a rich-person thing: in-ceiling speakers, wires everywhere, and a receiver hidden in a closet. Side-by-side in my bedroom, the HomePod mini still wins on low-end, so my verdict is simple: the Dio Node doesn’t replace my existing systems—it fills the gaps I couldn’t AirPlay to before.
