About This Video

In this video, I’m sharing my honest experience at Uni Clinic in Korea, where I tried two popular double-chin treatments: InMode and Shrink. The whole visit started with a thorough consultation where they assessed my facial structure and my goals, then I had to wash my face in the powder room because your skin needs to be completely bare (no sunscreen or makeup—only moisturizer is okay). I’d seen reviews saying Uni Clinic can feel like a factory assembly line, and I agree: it was super streamlined and pretty impersonal, which seems common in a lot of bigger Korean skincare clinics. Treatment-wise, InMode uses radio frequency to help tighten skin and reduce fat, and Shrink is a HIFU treatment meant to stimulate collagen deeper in the skin for lifting and tightening. I’m not going to sugarcoat it—both were extremely painful, and I usually have a high pain tolerance. Even with numbing cream, Shrink felt like burning, and I was literally crying. At three weeks post-treatment, I haven’t seen significant changes yet, and since these usually require multiple sessions (about every three months), I’m honestly unsure if I’ll continue—especially considering the pain. I did, however, get a $10 Aqua Peel, and that’s the one thing I’d recommend to basically anyone who wants a small skincare add-on.
