Ever wondered how undertones affect your makeup? 🌸✨ In this video, I’m showing the difference between cool and warm tone makeup on cool-toned skin. Even when shades look neutral, the undertone can completely change how your makeup blends, pops, and enhances your natural features 💖💫 Products Used: - Cushion: Heimish Artless Perfect Cushion ✨ https://ystyle.co/VJ9bG - Eyeshadow: Wakemake Soft Blurring Eyeshadow Palette #13 Blue Core Blue Ring (cool side) 🎨 https://ystyle.co/8QbXP - Eyeshadow: Fwee More Mood Eyeshadow Palette #02 Coral (warm side) 🌅 https://ystyle.co/xe2Wx - Blush: Fwee Pudding Pot ‘Baddie’ (cool side) 💜 https://ystyle.co/CsyiZ - Blush: Fwee Pudding Pot ‘My’ (warm side) 🍑 https://ystyle.co/CsyiZ *affiliated links Instagram; Mabelle.ave https://www.instagram.com/mabelle.ave/ vlog channel harrooyy https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwTnG5dDl1GOQf_BmpULulA instagram; https://www.instagram.com/s2harrooyy/ For business inquiries; mabelle.ave.beauty@gmail.com #coolmakeup #warmmakeup #coolvswarm #undertones #makeuptutorial #personalcoloranalysis #seasonalcoloranalysis #kbeautymakeup #bridalmakeup #naturalmakeup #everydaymakeup #makeuplook #makeuplover #beautytutorial #makeuphacks #makeupideas #eyeshadowtutorial #blushtutorial #lipsticktutorial #makeuptransformation

About This Video

A lot of people hear “neutral makeup” and assume it works for everyone, but in this video I break down why that’s not exactly true. Even shades that look neutral in the pan can lean warm or cool, and that tiny undertone shift can change how your makeup blends, how natural it looks, and whether it feels cohesive on your skin. I show everything on my own cool-toned skin so you can see the difference in real time. I start with a simple, fresh base (primer + Heimish Artless Perfect Cushion), then go into the biggest undertone “tell”: contour. I apply warm contour on one side and cool contour on the other, using the exact same placement. On cool skin, warm contour can pull orange or muddy and look like it’s sitting on top, while cool taupe/gray-brown tones melt in like real shadow. I do the same side-by-side test with eyeshadow—cool grays from Wakemake #13 vs warm browns from Fwee #02 Coral—and finish with blush (Fwee Pudding Pot ‘Baddie’ vs ‘My’). My main takeaway: matching undertone to undertone creates that polished, effortless harmony, and using the opposite undertone creates contrast that can be fun, but won’t look as seamless.
