About This Video

This is the first episode of my personal color series, and I’m kicking it off with a full Spring personal color deep dive—because I just took a personal color class in Korea and I learned so much that completely changed how I look at “why this color makes me glow” vs “why this makes me look tired.” In this video, I explain the overall Spring vibe (radiance, warmth, vibrancy—fresh flowers, warm sunshine, juicy peach) and the big common thread across all Spring types: warm undertones and a clear, golden/yellow-based glow. Then I break Spring down into the three subtypes: Light Spring, Clear (True) Spring, and Strong (Bright) Spring. For each one, I go through the typical skin/eye/hair qualities, what to look for in contrast and clarity, and the most flattering makeup + fashion directions—like why Light Spring should avoid heavy black and harsh contour, why Clear Spring can handle vivid “candy jewel” colors and bold tomato lips, and why Strong Spring shines in saturated warm shades like mustard, burnt orange, emerald, and metallic gold. I also share celeb examples as educated guesses (photos can be misleading!) and remind you that real analysis should be done in-person in neutral lighting with no makeup or hair dye influencing the result.
