In this video I’m reviewing the Prada Augmented Skin Reveal Mesh Cushion Foundation (shade LN10), and yes—Prada just launched their beauty line, so I was super excited to finally try it. The compact is gorgeous (that iconic nylon fabric and logo), but I’ll be honest: I’m still not fully sold on mesh cushions because I feel like they stop me from really pushing into the product. Still, once I started applying it, I was immediately surprised by how skin-like it looks. I applied it on bare base—just vitamin C serum and moisturizer—and the first thin layer gave me a very natural finish with very light coverage. It blended seamlessly, filled in my pores nicely, and felt hydrating, lightweight, and comfortable. It also has SPF 50+ PA+++ and is infused with niacinamide, plus Prada’s “Motion Protect Technology” that’s meant to move with your face and act like a protective membrane. I tested wear from 1:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. with no touch-ups, and overall it held up beautifully, but I do think you’ll need a touch-up during the day. My takeaway: this is amazing for lightly evening out your skin tone for everyday wear, but if you need full coverage for hyperpigmentation or acne scars, I wouldn’t recommend it. Worth the price? If it fits your lifestyle and budget, yes.
