In this live session, I tore down my previous setup and started a fresh nano aquascape from scratch—short, casual, and real-time with you guys. This tank is a floating tank series style, and the main idea was to do something different: I didn’t use my usual aquasoil (U.P.O.S). Instead, I filled the base with L.A.A.S and built the hardscape around one main piece of dragon wood, then framed it with dragon stones to match the shape of the tank while keeping an open area. I also showed you my go-to method for making the hardscape stable: cotton pads + aquarium-safe super glue. I always glue the dragon stones and wood together because once water goes in, loose rocks can shift and crush livestock. You’ll see the glue “smoke” as it cures—don’t inhale that. For planting, I kept it simple: Anubias nana (my favorite), Bucephalandra (including a green wavy tissue culture), and moss to hide the cotton pads and soften the scape. Everything was filmed with basic gear—just a small tripod and my handphone—because if I can do this, you guys can too.
