About This Video

In this Italy travel vlog, I’m taking you with me through 7 days in Rome and Tuscany (and yes, I’m giving the real tea on what’s actually worth it). We landed on the 6th of May and stayed super central in Rome at my boyfriend’s aunt’s place, which was honestly gorgeous. I did all the classic touristy bits like Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps (so crowded it was basically impossible to get content), Castel Sant’Angelo, and St Peter’s Church/Vatican area—plus you already know I’m clocking the weather because it was giving ā€œrain when you least expect it.ā€ Food-wise, I tried places that were hyped online and compared them to local recommendations. I went to Mimi e Coco because TikTok had people gassing it, but I’m going to be honest: it wasn’t all that. It’s fine if you want something easy and decently priced, but if you want a proper 10/10 meal, Da Francesco was the best dinner I had in Rome—recommended by Italians, so trust that. Then it was my birthday, we hit the road to Tuscany (about a 2-hour drive), and the vibe switched to beach days, swimming, chilling, drinks, and just enjoying the slower pace before heading back to Rome and flying out from Fiumicino.
