About This Video

In this video I’m doing a full base review using Pat McGrath complexion products for the first time, and honestly… I get the hype now. I picked them up because Pat McGrath was on sale at Sephora and I’ve always heard beautiful things about her artistry, so I had to test it for myself. I try the Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation in Deep 30 (MD30) and the matching concealer in MD26, and I show you exactly how I apply them to get this soft, natural-but-snatched base. What really surprised me is how weightless the foundation feels while still giving medium-to-buildable coverage. I went in with no primer (raw skin) and the finish still looked like my skin but better—blurred, hydrated, and not heavy on my acne-prone skin. I built it up to two layers and it literally felt like I had a filter on. The concealer was super creamy, easy to move around, and stayed blendable even after I let it sit for about 5 minutes. My only real complaint is that it settled into my under-eye creases a bit, but creasing is normal and I also layered a lot of powders, so that could’ve been the combo. Overall, the foundation is a 10/10 for me—especially if you want coverage without the cake.
