About This Video

In this video I’m giving you my real 2.5 year update on my dark lip neutraliser (lip tattoo) and answering the exact questions you left me after my first video. I got my lips neutralised back in August 2021 because I’ve always had genetically darker lips (thanks dad) and I was genuinely tired of feeling like I had to “cover” them with lipsticks and gloss 24/7. I tried all the natural remedies people swear by—lemon, sugar, honey scrubs, oils—you name it… and for me, they just didn’t work. I break down where I went (Nouva Beauty in Fulham—ask for Maya), how much I paid (£100 for the first session and £100 for the touch-up), how long it took (3 hours then 1.5 hours), and what the pain was like for me (about a 5.5/10 with numbing cream). I also talk about color choice (it’s picked for your tone—mine leaned reddish/orangey), healing (no cold sores or swelling for me), and whether it changed my lip texture (only temporary dryness). Most importantly: I show my lips up close and tell you straight—my results have lasted, I still love them, and I personally feel like this has been worth every penny.
