About This Video

In this video, I’m starting a full January-to-December series where I read an old-school beauty & health book written in 1975 and actually follow what it tells you to do each month. For February, I’m sharing the checklist we’re meant to follow daily to become “more beautiful, more confident,” and just feel better in ourselves—and I’m doing it because I genuinely want to see how beauty standards from back then hold up now. I walk you through my February “30 hard” style challenge: set clear health goals (lose/gain weight, exercise targets, skin goals), save more money (even if it’s just £30–£40), drink more water, and eat healthier. Then we get into the routines: a seven-way stretch every morning, warm water with lemon (I’m trying, but 5am me is not always cooperative), warm-up exercises, cleansing and moisturizing (I’m very “double double double cleanse”), plus supplements if that’s your thing. I also cover weekly and monthly self-care like facial masks, proper hair care (no, I’m not washing my hair every day), manicure/pedicure, and even a digestive “detox” approach that works for me (prune juice—thank me later). At the end of February, I’ll come back and tell you honestly what worked, what didn’t, and what I’m keeping.
