About This Video

This is the only time in the year I’ll tell you to get comfortable, grab a cup of tea (in my case, matcha), and sit down—because I’m doing my end-of-year self-help book wrap-up. According to Fable, I read 40 self-development books in 2024, and my ratings are tight because you’re spending your money on this. I break it into two sections: my physical “hard copy” reads and my Audible listens, and I go through them fast but honestly—five stars when it’s deserved, and one star when it’s a waste of shelf space. I talk about the books I absolutely loved, like Think Like a Monk, The Strangest Secret, The Diary of a CEO, Difficult Conversations, and sleep books like Why We Sleep and Four Weeks to Better Sleep (because I clearly went on a sleep research mission). I also tell you the ones that did nothing for me—like Attached (one and a half stars, and it doesn’t even cover disorganized attachment), The Psychology of Money (too complex for what I wanted), and Start With Why (I rated it one star and I stand by it). My biggest takeaway: don’t just read what’s trending—read what actually changes your habits, mindset, emotions, sleep, and confidence in real life.
