About This Video

In this video I share 5 books that helped me understand myself emotionally so I can show up physically for my goals. These aren’t “fix your morning routine” type books. For me, everything in life is emotional: going to the gym is emotional, eating healthy is emotional, even being consistent is emotional. So I’m focusing on books that give you the confidence, healing, and self-awareness that makes habits and productivity feel possible. I talk through Everyday Confidence (the first confidence book I ever read and highlighted like crazy), The Four Agreements (small book, massive power—your “word” and your inner rules matter), Toxic Parents (a book that helps you stop feeling ashamed for admitting your family dynamic hurt you), Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? (therapy in one book—practical comfort without forcing “positive vibes”), and #GIRLBOSS (a real reminder to prepare for success before it comes). My biggest takeaway: if your emotions aren’t intact, it’s hard to be consistent with anything—confidence, boundaries, and emotional tools come first, then the productivity follows.
