About This Video

Hey, hey hey, my fellow adventurers—this video is my Christmas home tour for the year, and I’m sharing all the thrifted, affordable, and DIY decor I put together throughout my living room, dining area, kitchen, sitting room, and bedroom. It’s been a challenging season for my family, but I’m choosing to focus on the blessings, the gratitude, and the cozy comfort of making my home feel warm and festive. You’ll see a lot of simple, budget-friendly ideas using Dollar Tree items, Goodwill finds, and even things I already had—like frames, bags, ribbon, and yarn. I walk you through several DIYs, like my little advent calendar made from cardboard, toilet paper rolls, and Dollar Tree display board, plus paper snowflakes, paper chains, and garlands made from yarn and even paper towel tubes. My tree is kind of Whoville-inspired this year (skinny tree and all), and I share how I used toilet paper roll chains, beads, and ribbon to give it personality. I also show my Orthodox Christian icon corner with nativity pieces, my holiday tablescape with thrifted teapots, and my coffee/tea/hot cocoa bar in the kitchen—because y’all know I’m a tea person. My big takeaway: you don’t need a big budget to make your home feel comfy, cozy, and meaningful for the season.
