About This Video

In this cozy November adventure, I’m back on the road to Flagstaff with my sweet friend Penny—because the leaves finally changed colors and I was not about to miss it. Where I live in the West Valley, we just don’t get that real fall experience (maybe a few trees change one color, but it’s not what we want), so this trip was all about soaking up everything autumn has to offer. I’m talking yellow everywhere, pops of red, and those “stop-the-car” views that make you grateful you showed up. As we explore, I’m basically saying hi to our “tree friends” the whole way, getting excited over a weeping-looking tree I’ve never seen before, and pointing out how the mountains in the background look absolutely picturesque—like the Misty Mountains from Lord of the Rings. We even spot a little house with a path leading up to it (and yes, I want you to tell me in the comments why it’s there!). This video is simple and sweet: a faith-filled, joyful road trip moment where the big takeaway is that some beauty is worth the drive—and honestly, it looks even more amazing in person than it does on camera.
