About This Video

We’re approaching a new year (believe it or not), and that means it’s time for a brand-new bullet journal setup. In this video, I get my 2026 bullet journal ready inside the Hobonichi-style cover I’ve had for a long time (I always feel like I’m abusing it a little when I squeeze a fresh notebook into that right pocket, but it’s okay!). I’m using a Hobonichi graph or plain notebook again, and I walk you through how I add pops of color—especially in the front pockets—using some adorable travel-themed cards as encouragement because I really want to do more traveling this year. From there, I set up my table of contents (including adding the subheadings I forgot at first), my future log, and my birthdays and anniversaries pages. I show how I stamp in mini calendars, fill in numbers, and add federal holidays and other important dates—plus a little doodling in the corners where I know I won’t need all the space. I also set up practical collections like Christmas gifts and decor, a YouTube video schedule (my goal is three long-form videos and one livestream per month, plus at least 12 shorts), a wishlist, and a pen test page—because I like to see how a pen truly writes before I commit to it, especially for drawing and doodling. And as always, I close with a faith-first reminder to take care of your body and seek first the kingdom of God.
