I talk through what each one feels like to use, what I reach for when I’m art journaling, and the little things that make a big difference—like how much control I want, how messy I’m willing to get, and what’s easiest on my hands on a chronic illness day. If you’ve been wondering which one is more beginner-friendly (or which one is less frustrating when you just want to relax), I share the way I think about it while I’m crafting. I also sprinkle in a health chat because that’s real life for me. Living with chronic illness means my energy and pain levels can change fast, so I’m always looking for creative options that still let me make something beautiful without overdoing it.
