About This Video

Hey loves, welcome to this vlog — working hard and honestly playing harder in the streets of Nairobi. I start the week helping my girl Kiki shoot an eyewear campaign, and let me tell you, shooting is fulfilling but also so draining. It’s the same clip over and over: “from this angle, now come closer, now zoom in,” until you feel it in your bones. But I loved the space, the energy, and how pressure-free it was — these are the days we prayed for. Then it turns into one of those Nairobi weeks where everything is packed and life is just… moving. I’m juggling school closing drama (the last-minute snack list for sharing day? Eish), my day job as a social media manager, and a hair collaboration that almost stressed me out because my micro twists weren’t finished on time. I had to accept reality, wake up at 6:30 a.m., go back to town early, and finally get the exact micro twists I wanted — worth it. From there it’s school performance check-ins (Taraji is doing so well, thank God), a paid cleaning partnership that had me cleaning until 12:21 a.m. with a full face of makeup, and then straight into event work and an expo behind the scenes. The takeaway? Planning saves me, but sometimes you still have to do what you have to do — and keep it moving.
