About This Video

Hey loves, welcome to this weekly Nairobi vlog and honestly… this one felt like my winning season. I started the week doing something I rarely do: leaving the house on a Sunday, fully glammed, because I had an Instagram campaign to shoot. And not just any campaign—Safaricom. Safaricom is basically the biggest telecom in Kenya (and M-Pesa is literally how we live), so this was a BIG deal for me. I had Kiki come through to help me shoot because the concept needed other people and real Nairobi energy, not just me in the house. From there it was just go-go-go creator life: recovering from our content creation masterclass prep, editing and submitting brand work fast-fast, then helping Kiki shoot her Tecno content with a picnic setup (and praying the rain would relax). I also shot my second Safaricom video by featuring a Nairobi salon to show how business and transactions happen in real life with M-Pesa. And in between, I had a moment at Uhuru Park just appreciating the view—because I genuinely love my city. Then we switched to “girls want to have fun” soft living vibes at home because I was also shooting for Casa Buena Sangria. I went to the market for fruits (yes, grapes are expensive, don’t play), got mint, planned a cute girls’ hangout concept, and pulled it all together with my friends. The takeaway? Production costs are real, deadlines are real, but when you push through, the results can be so worth it.
