About This Video

Hey loves, welcome to this weekly Nairobi living vlog. I’m running errands and doing proper Eastleigh (Isili) shopping with Lavender, and honestly… the money I left with in the morning and the money I had when I got home? Non-existent. Period. I’m shopping with my grandma’s burial in mind, so it’s not just “cute things” (even though I definitely picked some cute things). It’s practical home stuff, a few essentials for my brother’s house, and some things for Taraji like school socks/stockings—because I’ve learned the hard way that new stockings actually last, especially when your child plays too much. I also do a quick haul and break down prices: lessos for decency at home, long deras (because we’re tall), vests for my brother, and then I sneak in a few treats for myself—sandals, a new phone case (because my old one was an embarrassment), and the star of the show: open heels. I also pass through Dubois for small beauty bits like a shower cap, lip oil, and a fancy spray bottle. Then we get into real life: I’m juggling content, travel plans, and family logistics because I’m heading to the village for my grandma’s burial, while Taraji is also in national exams. My nervous system is in shambles, but we move.
