About This Video

Hey loves, welcome to this travel vlog. Tell a friend to tell a friend to tell another friend that Lita Mill has uploaded—period. In this video I’m taking you with me on our first ever family vacation, from the Nairobi prep (yes, I literally ran to get a small portable suitcase because I hate carrying a lot of baggage) to the road trip and arrival at Lalanasi Lodge. I show you our tented camp setup, how big the place actually is, and the different accommodation options—tented camps, smaller camping tents, family villas, and the “treehouse” (which, by the way, was not what I had in mind when I heard treehouse). I also walk you through what there is to do at the lodge: the playground (free), swimming, archery, boat riding to the waterfall area, ziplining (including the one over the water—my favorite), and even horse riding (another first for me). I share real pricing for activities, my honest experience with the food and hospitality (they handled feedback so well), and the one thing that annoyed me—Wi‑Fi being down. But the biggest takeaway for me is the “why” behind this trip. After losing both our parents and being separated as siblings, being in one place together means so much. We decided we’ll be doing a family trip once a year, and this one was such a beautiful start.
