Hey loves, welcome to this weekly Nairobi living vlog. I started my Monday the way I love—fresh start energy. I did my morning routine, washed clothes (because my cleaning lady hasn’t been coming), filmed a quick work video up on the rooftop, then headed out to Kamukunji for errands. I also managed to find the cutest “in-between” shoes (not too flat, not heels) and some cute earrings after realizing some places only sell wholesale (three pairs and above), which was not what I needed. Back home, I tried to restore order in the middle of work chaos, then I went to finally buy Taraji a proper mattress. The one I wanted was out of stock, so I stretched my budget for a better high-density one—and honestly, I was happy about the quality… until it didn’t fit the bed properly because of the bed measurements. We had to adjust the bed frame, and even after fixing it, I was lowkey worried about the slant, but the mattress itself felt so good for the back. Then life kept moving: I went for a very important meeting and secured a deal, did groceries (fruits, boiled maize for tea), and later shared a big lesson that hit me—“you can’t out-pray a season.” Opportunities started coming in back-to-back, and I realized I’m in my winning season, so I’m embracing it.
