Hey loves, welcome to this weekly Nairobi living vlog. This week was one of those “plans changed” weeks, so you’ll see a lot of real life: me working, filming products for my day job, editing for hours, then forcing myself to leave the house because staying indoors was starting to feel monotonous. I also show you my little kitchen win—my pots were shining-shining and I was genuinely proud. I used my normal dishwashing liquid plus bar soap (yes, the laundry/kitchen one) and I was literally seeing my reflection in the pot, so I even filmed content around that “narrator trend” concept. I also take you with me to town for a work errand at Yaya Center, where I had to be very sneaky recording because Kenyan supermarkets will make you feel like you’re doing crime if you’re not buying. Back home, I show you the power of meal prepping: I put together a full balanced meal in under 10 minutes using prepped traditional greens, mala (fermented milk), and some very juicy chicken I grabbed on the way. Then we switch vibes completely—Luo Festival! I get ready last minute, deal with “trouble in paradise” on my dress, and still choose warmth and comfort because if I’m cold, I won’t have fun. I go out with my bestie for a proper girl date and we vibe. I also add a last-minute Sunlight shoot segment, because YOLO—life is happening and I wanted you to see it.
