Update 8/8/25: This particular humidifier didn't have an essential oil compartment. The brand doesn't recommend that essential oils be used in the tank because they could weaken the plastic. It's easy to use and very straightforward. it includes a cleaning brush and an instruction booklet. The product has a rotating nozzle that can be used to direct the mist. It has an auto shut-off when the water gets low as well as an indicator light. This product should not be used with essential oils in the tank. The humidifier is whisper-quiet and offers low, medium, and high mist output. The mist is cold but isn't so heavy that it leaves a surface damp. This may vary depending on the setting you select.
