This scam isn't new, but it's making the rounds again. For this scam, you are contacted by a Podcaster(or their staff) to invite you to be a paid guest. When you respond to the podcaster, they send you the terms of the agreement. One of the terms is that you add a new email address for authorized use on Facebook. The podcast will be broadcast and filmed via Facebook. The catch is that once the new email is added, they have the right to use your Facebook account. So they hijack it. This means they can lock you out of your Facebook account and, later on, possibly all your Meta products (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, etc.).
