The cream is thick yet lightweight. You can use it as needed or twice daily. it includes Colloidal Oatmeal & Beta-Glucan. The cream works well and I liked that it helped add a protective and hydrating layer to my skin. I used it alone and with a moisturizer. It helped give a hydrating boost to my moisturizer. I found it worked best when applied to a damp or lightly misted face. Then letting it absorb a bit before adding my moisturizer. it worked well for me and didn't cause any breakouts.
