The steps are very easy to do. You can report them using the Facebook app or when using a desktop. How to report an account: 1. Log into your account (app or desktop) 2. Find a profile you think is suspicious for example a new follower who has a bunch of followers but no photos. Or a profile claiming to be a well-known brand. 3. view the profile 4. click/tap on the three dots at the top-hand corner of the profile. A list will appear 4a) the list states find support or report or block a user 5. click/tap find support or report. This also opens another list 5a) pretending to be someone else, fake profile, fake news, posting inappropriate things, harassing or bullying the last 3 are support options 6. Depending on the account you can report if it is a fake profile or pretending to be someone else. 7. Fake profile 7a) all you do is click/tap the fake profile button and click next 7b) follow the prompts on the screen check the box that you confirm the page is fake or going against Facebook's guidelines. 7c) press next and your done 8. Pretending to be someone else option 8a) tap/click on the pretending to be someone else button 8b) it gives you a list: me, a friend or celebrity you can select your option and click next. 8c) if you click a friend or a celebrity you may need to find the account after clicking next. 8d) once you find the friend or celebrity you click next and your done.
