Hairitage Down to the Basics products

intro: 0:00 info: 0:25 price: 6:05 $7.94 USD Each bottle Shampoo or Conditioner A few weeks ago I was selected by Home Tester club to review the Hairitage Down to the Basics shampoo and conditioner. I wasn't familiar with a brand so I didn't know much about the products. Aside from the fact that they were going to be fragrance-free. The Shampoo Down to the basics, the shampoo was a bit thick when I tried it originally. It seemed a bit gooey too. I used the set for 3 days. The bottle has an easy-to-use pump for quick dispensing. The directions leave a bit to be desired, however. It states to use a generous amount. Since it's fragrance-free along with sulfate-free the shampoo doesn't lather much. I also felt that it over cleansed my hair. It left my hair feeling squeaky clean. It left my hair very dry as well. The conditioner The Down to the Basics conditioner was thick and didn't seem to spread evenly in my hands when I originally used it. It was hard to rinse out as well. I felt it matted my hair and pulled the moisture from my hair. The bottle also had a pump top. I also felt it left an oily film on my roots. The following day my hair was left very dry and frayed. I thought this could have been a reaction to the products being something new ot my hair care routine. After three days of use, I still had the same result. I don't know if all the products are this way but I didn't feel that it was for my hair type. I did note that both the shampoo and conditioner had a light scent. I thought the shampoo smelled of cherries. The conditioner had another scent. I just figured this may have been due to possible product changes during shipping. I wasn't impressed by these products and felt they weren't for me.
