Eva NYC Satin Dream products

I wasn't very impressed by them. The new Satin Dream Shampoo and Conditioner are a bit better than I expected. They have an eco-friendly metal bottle and pump tops. They can be used for all hair types. It's stated to help smooth your hair and handle humidity and frizz well. The Shampoo is creamy and does have a decent lather for being sulfate-free. It has a bit of an earthy or chocolatey scent. The shampoo and conditioner contain Snow Mushroom and Poppy Seed. The shampoo rinses well. The conditioner is creamy and also has the same earthy or chocolatey scent. It clings to the hair. It rinses well. I will say these products did take some time to get used to. The first day my hair was a bit dry. After a few days of use, my hair did look shiny yet it wasn't very moisturized. I didn't feel it handle frizz well at all for me. My hair also didn't feel any softer. I did notice that it helped my waves a bit. I don't live in a humid climate so I can't attest to its humidity control claims. Overall the Satin Dream shampoo and conditioner were okay for me. I wish it would have moisturized my hair better. It seemed to leave my hair looking a bit flat or weighed down at the roots. The metal bottle and pump top may be a challenge as well. The eco-friendly metal bottle is great but may rust if exposed to water for a long period of time. The pump top is a bit hard to open. You may have a jammed pump like I did. I twisted the pump as the arrow stated yet the internal spring was jammed. I pulled the pump upward and pulled off the pump head. I replaced it but it's not a great design. The products retail for $12.99 USD each. They are sold at various retailers.
