Paypal Scams Paypal scams are popular these days. It doesn't matter if your sent a generic your account is being suspended notice or a more authentic looking Paypal payment confirmation email. You need to make sure it's from Paypal or any other payment service. Always check the email address. if it comes from a free dot com email accounts such as a yahoo, gmail or the like. It's fake. Also if it has a string of letters or mixed gibberish as the email URL it's also a scam. visit the link from Paypal sharing how ot report spam emails https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/security/report-problem or forward the spam message to the following address spoof@paypal.com PDF email scams I have noticed a lot of emails that have random PDFs attached. These may be a phishing scam or possibly a malware scam. Either way, if you aren't expecting a PDF document from someone don't open it. Some that I've been sent are just what i consider an auto-generated email. They are from random people and have some weird mash-up of nonsense statements as the text. The PDF files may include a letterhead or logo of various organizations.
